Women Empower

The expectations are high for women. There is still enormous pressure to “have it all” both at work and at home. We strive to excel in our fields while carving out time to serve as mentors, role models, and champions for other women. Anyone who has tried to juggle the demands of fitting in and offering a unique viewpoint at work both while maintaining a balanced life knows that doing it all requires compromise and careful planning. Women who want to have it all must ask for what they need and, ultimately, to reform the system. Doing so requires us to be empowered, to hone our energy, motivation, and, often, the support and encouragement of others. The 2019 Women’s Leadership Conference at the University of New Haven will provide participants with practical tools and inspired wisdom around the theme of women’s empowerment.

Empower yourself. Empower a colleague. Empower the next generation.

Join us on October 4, 2019 from 8 am to 2:30 pm on the University of New Haven campus in West Haven, CT
